Course Description

This course contains all of the content of the Basic Course. Here you will learn to identify numerous arrhythmias, understand what caused them as well as some basic information regarding treatment for these abnormalities.


You are guided through each segment of the ECG, cardiac axis, rhythm, rate, various ECG abnormalities, as well as interpretation of the ECG. Recognition of dangerous rhythms, patient management and an overview of medical treatment of some of these conditions is covered. The aim is not only to provide a theoretical overview of the anatomy of the cardiac conduction system, but also to present the content in a way that logically links cardiac anatomy and the electrophysiological changes that present on the ECG so that it is not merely an identification of what, but why, these changes occur.
