This course has been developed to provide essential skills and knowledge to Community Healthcare Workers and other members of the Response Teams that will be visiting homes to screen for COVID-19 disease in household members. The screening of households has become an essential component in the containment of the disease to identify those members of the household with symptoms linked to COVID-19 timeously and refer them for care and treatment and, if necessary, quarantine as indicated. These measures have been put in place by the Department of Health following the lockdown procedure in the country since 26 March.
All members of the COVID-Response Team, i.e. Community Health Workers and other first responders and frontline workers.
